I had everything else; my rifle, ammo, gear but I left my hunting license at home on the kitchen counter! I had to drive an hour back to get it and I felt like an idiot

I keep a picture of my permit on my phone as a backup and keep the real one in my wallet all the time. This has saved me some trouble.

If you use the DWR App on your smart phone - it’s all there.

The CPOs that help with the Hunter Safety Classes tell us that the App just as valid proof as the hard copy.
