Do you prefer revolvers or automatics?

I was at the range last week, switching between my Ruger GP100 and a friend’s small auto. It made me think about how each gun changes your rhythm. The revolver makes me slow down but the auto makes me speed up. What do you prefer?

Depends on the situation: My two favorites are seen below:

I am a longtime fan of the legendary 1911 ever since USCG bootcamp in the late 70's! I knew that once I settled down, retired, etc... I just HAD to own one! Now, being that it is (avg) 2.5 lbs carry weight, it's a bit much for an IWB holster, so I carry it in a replica M3 Tanker holster. For the ultimate CWP, I bid on and won an original 1972 S&W Mod 36 .38 snubby, that was (according to the FFL dealer) a real LEO's piece based out of Ocala, FL! I can toss the little snubby in a pocket, in a IWB holster, anywhere.... and nobody would know a thing!
