What I actually think about while carrying in line at the coffee shop

It is nothing about the gun at all. It's just there, the same way my wallet or my keys are just there not something occupying any real mental space. What I'm actually thinking about is whether the line is moving, what I feel like ordering and whether I remembered to send that one email before I left the house.And that's kind of the whole point. The goal of carrying consistently is that eventually it stops being remarkable, even to you. The tool is present but you're just having a Tuesday and that's exactly how it should feel.

Does carrying feel routine for any of you too at this point?

Yeah, pretty much the same here for me. After a while it just blends into the background like keys or a phone and you’re focused on your day. That’s kind of when it feels the most normal.
