I moved a barreled action from a factory stock into an adjustable chassis. Everything else stayed the same but my groups tightened up noticeably. The improved cheek weld alone made a measurable difference. If you take bolt gun shooting seriously, a chassis upgrade is worth looking into.

Its crazy how just getting your head in the same place every time suddenly makes everything else look more precise.

Yeah, that cheek weld change alone can make a bigger difference than most people expect.

Switching to a chassis, that really squared away my consistency right away. You know, those factory stocks, they flex a lot more than folks give 'em credit for, especially when you've got them sitting on a bipod.
