Local Gunsmith Recommendations

Hey everyone! I'm in need of a local gunsmith for some repairs on my rifle. Has anyone had a great experience with someone they trust? Would love to hear your recommendations!

I'm not sure where you're located but I've heard that https://www.chesapeakepawnandgun.com/gunsmith is a good gunsmith. I haven't used his services yet myself.

+1 to Chesapeake Pawn and Gun, Kurt is pretty darn good. Also, not sure if the same guys are there but Bob's Gun Sop on Granby St. in Norfolk at one time was the place to go for gunsmithing

Charles is in the process of relocating his business to a new location across from the G0-Kart track in Lightfoot. It will be in the strip mall across RTE 60 behind the little Mexican restaurant. Charles Sodan is a Master Gunsmith and still does hot bluing as well. If you go, tell him the Sergeant Major sent you. He should have his FFL transferred to the new location by 01 Sept.

Ive used Sodan for several things. He reblued an A5 barrel I purchased from him along with the receiver. Does very good work.
