Almost bought something stupid

I almost pulled the trigger on a $2,000 tricked-out AR that I didn't need and couldn't really afford. I slept on it, came back the next day and it was gone. I am glad I dodged a bullet financially. Not every cool gun needs to be purchased and sometimes the best decision is walking away and being content with what you have..

Sleep is the best financial advisor, it has saved me from plenty of dumb purchases too.

I've passed on a few guns like that and never regretted it. It's funny, but the ones I actually use the most weren't impulse buys at all.

I’ve almost pulled that move myself more than once. Walking away feels tough for a few minutes but the next day you realize you avoided a lot of regret.
