It was my first and time and a completely different experience. The shadows, the target illumination and everything felt weird. And it took me like 20 rounds to get used to it. Anyone else struggle with weapon-mounted lights at first?

Weapon lights messed with my eyes at first. What fixed that was learning to point the beam to the side instead of staring right at the bright spot.

The first time I tried using a light, that felt pretty awkward for me too. The shadows really threw me off more than I thought they would. But after a few times out with it, it just started to feel like a natural extension.

With a weapon light, at first I kept hitting the shadows instead of the target. It took way more than 20 rounds to get past that, it’s a different skill set than people admit.

Yeah, that’s pretty normal the first time. A WML changes your visual reference a lot and bounce back can mess with your depth perception until your brain adjusts. After a few range sessions it usually clicks and starts feeling natural.
