I’ve seen a lot of mixed opinions on hydro dipping gear and I’ve been debating trying it on a stock or two. Some folks say it holds up great, others say it starts peeling or wearing fast. If you’ve done it, how did it turn out?

It requires a lot of practice and patience and can eat up a lot of material. It is not as durable as one would think.
Guncote or Cerecote which are baked on finishes hold up well.
