just got a 10/22, what upgrades to start with?

hey y’all, just picked up my first 10/22, and wow, i totally get the hype! it’s already a blast to shoot, but i want to make it my own eventually. trying to pace myself here, but what upgrades or small tweaks made your 10/22 even better? what do you think is the best place to start? appreciate any tips!

The first thing I install is new bolt release, it allows you to release the bolt by simply pulling the bolt handle back slightly. Under $10 on Ebay.

Here ya go! Old school BC folding stock. Chopped and threaded bbl for a can, binary trigger and a red dot! These are definitely fun to upgrade!

Why rush to upgrade? The 10/22 is already good. Learning its ins and outs before tweaking it is part of the fun, don't you think?
